La familia


Mí familia llegó. No pude documentar mucho de las acciones de SME o mas bien la situación politica en general. Voy a actualizar mas info pronto.

Mí hermana, mamá, y padrino llegaron y hicimos muchisimo...
...yo corrí a todos lados con ellos como un guía. Gracias por todos Mamá, Natalie y Bill

Third National Assembly of the Popular Resistance

SME y grupos en solidaridad dicidieron que habrá una toma de la ciudad (D.F) en 4 de diciembre, una referencia al día, en 1914, cuando Emiliano Zapata y Francisco Villa (heroes folkloricas de la Revolución Mexicana) acordaron ocupar y tomar la ciudad de México durante la Revolución Mexicana. Tambien habrán movilaciones en 14 de diciembre, el 95 aniversario de SME.

SME and groups in solidarity, decided that there will be a take of the city (D.F.) on December 4th, a reference to the day, in 1914, when Emiliano Zapata and Francisco Villa (Folk Heros of the Mexican Revolution) agreed to occupy and take México City during the Mexican Revolution. Also there will be mobilizations on December 14th, the 95th anniversary of SME.

México Paro Civico Nacional - México Civic National Strike

Ha sido un mes hace la liquidación de la empresa nacional de electrecidad - Luz y Fuerza del Centro (LyFC) - cuando elementos de la Policia Federal en la medianoche cerraron las instalaciones de la empresa y quitaron el trabajo de mas que 44,000 trabajadores. Esos trabajadores son miembros del Sindicato Mexicano de Electrecistas (SME), alguno de los pocos sindicatos en México que ha tenido una historia fuerte de militancia. Despues de un mes de mitines, bloqueos, asembleas, marchas y protestas - en 11 de noviembre, SME inicío con el apoyo de cientos de grupos de trabajadores, estudiantes, campesinos, organizaciones civiles, y cientos de miles de ciudadanos, un "paro civico nacional". En todo el país estuvo acciones que fue una muestra de la fuerza de la gente que esta luchando por justicía, derechos, y las posibilidades que existen de un otro mundo.

It has been a month since the liquidation of the national electrical company - Luz y Fuerza del Centro (LyFC) - when elements of the Federal Police in the middle of the night closed the installations of the company and cut the jobs of more than 44,000 workers. Those workers are members of the Mexican Electricians Union (SME in spanish), one of the few Unions in México that has a strong history of militancy. After a month of rallies, blockades, assemblies, marches, and protests - on November 11, SME initiated with the support of hundreds of groups of workers, students, campesinos, civil organizations and hundreds of thousands of citizens, a Civic National Strike. In all of the country there was actions that above all was a show of serious force of the people struggling for justice, their rights and what posibilities that exist for a different world.

El Sindicato de Telefonistas de la Rep. Mex. (STRM) participó en solidaridad con SME, por cerrando sus instalaciones y apagando servicio de teléfeno. Martín Esparza el represante de SME y Mario Alberto Suárez Orduña el represante de STRM.

The Union of Telefonistas of the Mexican Republic (STRM in spanish) participated in solidarity with SME, by closing their installations and turning off telephone service. Martin Esparaza, the representative of SME and Mario Alberto Suárez Orduña, the represntative of STRM.


Brigadeos de trabajadores tuvieron posiciones entre muchas partes de la ciudad. Ellos dieron información sobre el conflicto y bloquearon calles. Este grupo marchó a la Embejada de E.E.U.U.

Brigades of worker took positions throughout many parts of the city. They gave information about the conflict and blocked streets. This group marched to the American Embassy.





A las 4 en la tarde la marcha del Angél al Zocalo empezó.
